Oil Plus 2C Pure is the non-pigmented version of Rubio Monocoat's hardwax oil. It protects your interior timber in a single coat without adding colour, and comes in 390ml, 1.3 litre and 3.5 litre sizes.
One coat, no lap lines
Oil Plus 2C bonds with the raw wood fibres rather than building a film on top, and it doesn't bond to itself. That's why one coat is all you need. It also means there are no lap lines, and worn or damaged areas can be spot repaired without redoing the whole surface.
Durable protection
The finished surface resists wear, water and heat, and because there's no surface film, it won't peel or flake. Surfaces are ready for light use after one day and 80% cured after two days. For a faster full cure, mix with Oil Plus 2C Part B, which brings full cure down from 21 days to within 5 days.
Find your colour
Choose from our 40 standard colours or Pure, or mix your own custom colour. Natural is pigmented with yellow and white tones, while Pure is non-pigmented. Colour can vary between wood species, so we recommend testing on your own timber with a 6ml, 20ml or 100ml sample first.
Certified 0% VOC
Based on linseed oil, Oil Plus 2C is solvent-free and certified 0% VOC, with GREENGUARD Gold, Food Safe and Toy Safety certifications.
Odour, ventilation and room use
Certified 0% VOC does not mean odour-free: a scent may be noticeable during application and drying. Keep the area well ventilated during application and curing, following the current technical data sheet. Light-use and full-cure times describe the finish, not when a room is ready to be reoccupied. Before starting, check the current technical data sheet for preparation, mixing, application and curing instructions, and room-use guidance. If room-use timing is not specified or is unclear for your project, contact our technical team before reoccupying.
Good to know
